New Release | WFM UK: Accurate SSP & CSP in Wage Cost, Employment Conflict Resolution, Salary Sacrifice Company Car and Car Fuel (OpRa) | 1st Oct 2026

What’s New?

• Accurate SSP & CSP in Wage Cost - Wage Cost gives a more accurate picture of absence costs. SSP is no longer estimated from a fixed daily rate. Instead, it is now taken directly from the payroll calculation engine, so the SSP shown in the Wage Cost matches the amount processed (or will be processed) through payroll. Company Sick Pay (CSP) is also now included, using actual CSP amounts net of any SSP offset, so you see the true cost of paying absent employees rather than an approximation. 
• Employment Conflict Resolution - Employment History Conflict Resolution is enabled for all customers. Originally released in October 2025 and later withdrawn, it has since been improved and brings a modernised approach to employment changes. When a change is submitted with an earlier effective date than one already scheduled, users are taken to a Conflict Resolution page to accept or reject each conflicting change, resolving issues that previously may have needed Support or Engineering assistance. Only accepted changes are applied, and all outcomes are visible in Employee History.
• Salary Sacrifice Company Car and Car Fuel (OpRa) - In the BIK Module, a new Company Car and Car Fuel (Salary Sacrifice) benefit type is now available, applying HMRC OpRA rules to salary sacrifice car and fuel arrangements. The system compares the salary sacrifice amounts for the current tax year against the standard BIK and uses the higher value as the Cash Equivalent. The salary sacrifice deduction can also be added to payroll automatically.
