What’s New?

• 'Comment' Text Field for Product Lines
  In the Receiving app, a free-text 'comment' field (alphanumeric, 255 character limit) is available on the 'Add Line' and 'Edit Line' screens. This can be used for entering additional information or reference numbers related to specific products. Once the pending delivery is accepted, the information in this field will appear in the 'Reasons' field in Inventory

Please submit a support request to have the functionality enabled. 

Visibility of the 'Comment' field in the Receiving app depends on Global Settings applied in Inventory, relating to whether the 'reason for change' is mandatory.

The field can be configured so that:

• Reason is mandatory and must be selected from a list
• Reason is mandatory and can either be selected from a list or entered in free text field
• Reason is optional
