The Change
The release of Fourth Engage 1.8 will release capability for the deployment of apps to the Apple Business-to-Business (B2B) store, allowing customers to upgrade their applications.
Release Date: 11/05/2017
Reason for the Change
To allow upgrading of existing apps and deployment of new apps.
Customers Affected
This change is available to all Fourth mobile customers, but will be configured as off for existing users.
Release Notes
When new users are added to Fourth they are required to setup a password for their account. Following this process users will now be directed to where their app is located on either Google Play or the Apple App Store, depending on device used. This process is designed to ensure that users make use of the redemption code that they are given if they are a branded app client, as the process of downloading a B2B app is slightly different from the regular Business-to-Consumer (B2C) app store.

Within the Fourth app there will be a new tab called Get the App, which will display the same information and also link through to the relevant app store that the user’s device is on.
