What’s Changing?
New functionality to configure Locations and Departments in Advanced Schedules and Labour Productivity.

Reason for the Change
To allow customers to configure new Locations without the need to make any requests from Fourth.
Customers Affected
All Advanced Schedules and Labour Productivity customers, though the functionality must first be enabled by Fourth. Please liaise with your Fourth contact to have this done.
Release Notes
In Advanced Schedules and Labour Productivity, Divisions are Departments. There are several fields which are not editable. These fields can however be updated in the HR & Payroll product (formerly known as People System).
There different versions of the page based on the organisation’s configuration – HR & Payroll-integrated / HR-integrated, and standalone organisations.
Locations and Departments Pages
Name – Location Name
Code – If HR & Payroll system Accounting System Code
PostCode – Postcode of the Location (this is used to populate weather forecasting and can be updated by amending in HR & Payroll)
T&A ID – Time and Attendance ID from POS or T&A Clock
Publish Shifts Enabled – If Publish Shifts is enabled for an organisation, this setting can be configured by each Location
Open Shifts Enabled – If Open Shifts is enabled for an organisation, this setting can be configured by each Location
Schedule Departments as One - Please liaise with your Fourth contact for further information on an organisation’s specific configuration. Enabling this setting will roll all Departments up and display employees from all Departments in one.
Department Name – This can be amended in HR & Payroll
Code – Department code from HR system. If HR & Payroll integrated this will be the Accounting System Code
EPOS ID – The EPOS provider ID which will be used for sending sales data and is the unique ID used for loading sales/wage budgets for this Department
T&A Enabled – If the Department uses Time & Attendance, this setting will display the T&A clocks in the Schedule page
Use Sales Type Grouping – Can be applied if the organisation uses Sales Type Grouping. Please liaise with your Fourth Contact for further information on your organisation’s specific configuration
Alphabetic Staff Sorting – Displays employees in alphabetical order in the Schedule page
If using Schedule Departments as one, only the first department will need to be configured.

- Go to Labour Productivity > Settings
- See the two menu options Locations and Departments on the left-side menu
