Images in Announcements
Currently, images uploaded into the body of an announcement appear in small circles inside the Announcement Detail page. In this release, the Announcement Detail page displays images in full so that users can view them clearly and easily.

Configurable Announcement Icon
Admin users are now able to configure displaying the announcement icon at the time of creating the announcement in the Salesforce console. The Hide Announcement Icon box can be ticked/un-ticked as wished.

Creating Image-only Announcements
Admin users in the past have used the “.” to create image-only announcements without a title and/or description. In the Announcements page in the Salesforce console, admin users now only have to enter a ‘space’ in the content field to create an image-only announcement.

Once the announcement record is created, users will be able to view just an image in the announcement carousel.

Extending the Announcement Selection Area
To improve the overall user experience when interacting with the announcements carousel, the touch-zone/click-zone to the entire height of the announcements carousel has been extended. Users can click/tap anywhere within the carousel to drill down into the detail page.
This functionality is available on all the following devices:
Notifications for Announcements without a Title
The ‘null’ terminology displayed in notifications created for announcements with no title/content has been removed. As of this release, any announcements with no title or content will show “New Announcement” in the title.
