Release Note: Mobile: Employee Self Service 1.2: PDF Enhancements

The Change

This release of Employee Self Service provides users with additional capabilities for the opening and downloading of PDF payslips. Within this release there are a number of bug fixes and changes to prevent users from being able to change their name in the Update Personal Details feature.

Reason for the Change

Enhancing PDF capabilities in the Fourth App (and client branded apps) and to stop the ability of users changing their names.

PDF Payslips Enhancements
Employee Self Service will be releasing enhancements to the way that PDF payslips are handled throughout the mobile experience. Both iOS and Android will have additional capabilities to handle PDFs through new native plugins. These new capabilities include viewing, downloading, and sharing PDFs.

Update Personal Details – Stopping name change
Name change capability has been removed from ESS so that users can no longer change their names through ESS. It is important to note that employees will still be able to change their names in People System as they always have.
