Creating Blackout Days
If the user has the View Unavailability Blackout Days and the Access to create/edit blackout days for current location then they will be able to create and edit blackout days for the location that they are currently logged in to.

The blackout days will be stored in the table in the Unavailability Blackout days page.
To allow the user to create blackout days at all locations then they will need to have all 3 user level permissions. This will cause the All Locations tick box (see Fig.5) to appear and allow the user to edit/delete all location blackout days.
Changes to My Schedule App
If an employee attempts to create unavailability on a day where a blackout day has been setup in Labour Productivity, a pop-up warning message will be displayed (see Fig.7). Blackout Dates are displayed in red on the calendar.
If an employee creates a recurring unavailability request and there is a blackout day on one of the recurring days in the future, the blackout day will be ignored but all other recurring dates will be recorded. The blackout days are indicated with a red icon as shown below in Fig.8.
