Release Notes
Improvements to Announcements
Announcements are a big vector of communication from a head office to employees. A number of improvements have been made in this release to make it easier to create them.

Fig.1 - New Title Description Colour, Start Date & Time, and Rich Text fields for Announcements
Aggregated Push Notifications for Likes
Push and in-app notifications were recently introduced for when people like or comment other people's posts. In our mindset of continuous improvement we have changed the way notifications are displayed for 'likes' so that users are not overwhelmed by notifications in the app.
Instead of getting one in-app notification for every like, there will now be one notification per post mentioning the name of the last two people who liked it and how many other people liked it as well.
Push notifications will remain unchanged, as will notifications for comments.
Improvements for Comments
Android and browsers only - When selecting the comment icon on a post, users will be redirected to the post with the text field pre-selected so they can write their comment straight away.
Apple Redemption Service Improvements
When managing a program of change, adoption is key. That is why we have improved our Apple redemption service to make sure all of your user base can download your branded application in the Apple B2B store. We have also added a small piece of informational text to explain what happens when the users select the link to download the app.

Improvements to Announcements
Announcements are a big vector of communication from a head office to employees. A number of improvements have been made in this release to make it easier to create them.
- Change the colour of the title and description in the carousel so that the background image can follow a brand image. This will be managed by entering the hex code of the desired colour in the back-end console
- Pre-planned announcements. Announcements can be created with a start date in the future. Once that date is reached (+-8 minutes) then the announcement will appear and the user base will receive the usual push notification. This allows administrators to take their time and to add images to announcements before they go live
- Rich text and hyperlinks in the body of announcements. Make content more attractive by using rich text features, paragraphs and hyperlinks in the body of announcements. This will help content drive more attention
