The Receiving app can now be used to add images to individual pending deliveries. The images can then be accessed in the core purchasing systems (Adaco and Inventory). |

What's Changing?
It is now possible to associate images/photos with pending deliveries using the Receiving app. These images are then available in the core purchasing systems (Inventory, Adaco).
Trade Simple will support images in a future release
Reason for the Change
To give users the option to photograph/visually document their deliveries and invoices - especially useful in the event of damaged goods/short deliveries.

Available by default to all customers using the Receiving app.
Release Note Info/Steps
- Log in to the Receiving app and select a Location
- Then select a Pending Delivery

Select the camera icon

Select Add Photo
- If using a mobile device, use the camera to capture an image or add one from the photo library (desktop users will only have this second option)

Image size is limited to 25MB. Supported types are JPEG, JPG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, and PDF. Videos and GIFs are not supported (see Fig.4).

- If required, select the three dots menu to see options to Rename or Delete the image
- Select the thumbnail (Fig.5) to see the full-sized image

The number of images associated with a pending delivery is displayed next to the 'Delivery reference' field (see Fig.6)
Multiple images can be uploaded.

Accessing the Images in the Core Purchasing System
Any images captured in the Receiving app will be accessible in the core purchasing system (Adaco, Inventory).
Accessing Receiving Images in Adaco
Within Adaco, images captured in the Receiving app are saved as 'PO Comments' against each receiving.
Either:

Go to the Receiving Corrections screen, right-click a receiving and select Comments Log (Fig.7)
or - Open a receiving and go to the PO Comments tab (Fig.8)
- Double-click the paperclip icon
The image will then load in your default web browser.

Accessing Receiving Images in Inventory
In Inventory, images captured in the Receiving app are saved against the approved GRN.
On the main GRN document page, there is a new indicator of how many images are associated with the GRN (Fig.9)

Within the GRN there is a new section in the header which shows details of any images associated with the GRN.
Clicking on the View option will open the image in a new browser tab.
