What’s Changing?
New functionality that gives the ability to set an automatic clock-out time when using eClock.
Reason for the Change
If a team member forgets to clock out, they will remain clocked in on the device until back on duty. Scheduling an automatic clock-out time can help prevent issues where employees can appear as 'active' on eClock when they should not be, and enables managers to efficiently manage time and attendance.
Overview
Example
If the auto clock-out is set to 03:00 AM, any employees still clocked in at this time will have a clock-out recorded. The clock-out time will then be sent through to the Scheduling module.
- To have this functionality enabled, please send the following information to your Fourth representative
Customer Name | Auto Clock-Out Time | Configuration Date |
Your organisation's name | 03:00 AM (example) | The date that the auto clock-out will take effect |
Please note:
- The auto clock-out time will apply to all locations
- Fourth advises that businesses with employees working across business days (example: 8pm start, 2am finish) do not enable this functionality
- Once an auto clock-out is applied, the time can be changed but the setting itself cannot be reverted
