Is it possible to remove/edit the title pre-fix in employee names ones this has been entered into People System?

When an employee needs to change their title as it has been entered into People System HR - how is this possible?

e.g. previously entered Mrs and now wish to be Miss or Ms

The Personal Details page allows you to edit name etc. but title doesn't show anywhere.

Just wondering if Support were able to answer this query? I've had a request of the opposite: i need to change a colleague from Miss to Mrs. I've changed her status to Married on the personal details page, but it's still showing as 'Miss'

Hi Usman Ali,

Currently it is not possible for you to update the title but your colleague will be able to do it themselves.

They will need to:

  • Log in to the HR module
  • Select Self Administration > Personal Details
  • Update the Title field and then Save

If the employee doesn't have access to WFM and the ability to edit their title is not possible on ESS on Engage, how can it be done?

Hi Tom Mercer,

At present, Self Administration in WFM is the only way to do this from the front end. Sorry not to have a solution for you here.
It may be possible to have it changed on request - please raise a support ticket to enquire.
