It will depend on whether the employee is going to remain Flexible and just have contracted hours set to zero or if the employee will be changing from Flexible to Casual.

If just changing contracted hours, this can be amended in the employee's employment details page and will not have any impact on their holiday calculations.

Moving from Flexible to Casual requires some considerations and would ideally be done at the end of the current holiday year. Please see article https://help.hotschedules.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042289812-WFM-HR-Differences-between-Flexible-and-Casual-Holiday for more information.
