Email notifications For Purchase Requisitions

Hi Everyone, 

 

Wondering if anyone has a potential solution to this issue: Our VP of hospitality would like to be copied on any requisition that is routed for approval from his departments.  We don't want to add him as an approver on the route (as he doesn't want to hold any approval up), but he would like an e-mail when someone submits and outlet requisition for approval (similar to how an approver gets the notification) but without being an approver.

 

Is this something that someone else has set up or is it even possible?

Hi Robert Lopez,

Thank you for your query.

Unfortunately, the user will not be able to receive an email notification for requisitions without being in the approval routing.

But you may create 'Approval Groups' and add them to the approval routing where the user will receive a notification similar to other approvers. However the user can refrain from approving the requisition, yet view all the details.
