RME: Managing Mixed Case Ingredients

I am looking for advise on how to manage mixed case ingredients in RME. For example a case of mixed flavour muffins that are brought under 1 SKW (so unable to use the Alternate feature). Each muffin contains different allergens and kcal, so we are currently over declaring the allergens and averaging kcal information when we use this product in a recipe.
In an ideal world we would have each individual product’s allergen and ingredient data correctly linked to its respective item, while still being grouped under the one mixed case SKU. Is something like that possible?

Hi Stephanie

Thanks for the post.  Because nutrition and intolerance information for an RME ingredient is held at the 'parent ingredient' level, alternate ingredients cannot have their own, independent, nutrition and allergen information.

For some customers, the configuration that allows 'duplicate distributor codes' would enable multiple parent ingredients to have the same distributor name and code combination.  Unfortunately I don't think that this configuration would be suitable for your organisation.

We will discuss your challenge internally and will add to this post if we can think of a solution.
