creating quotes after start date

/I have it in the back of my mind that if you create a quote with a start date of eg 01/08/25 and you created the quote on the 10/08/25  there is an option to update any open PO's ( for the vendor) to the newest quote price.  is anyone able to help me with this?

Hi Elaine,

I can see you raised this as a ticket also, unfortunately as discussed on that ticket, there is no automation currently for this and you have the ability to update existing PO's but this is a manual task.

However this will not change the price sent to the vendor as this will already have been sent.
 
So if it's entirely for internal purposes then yes it's possible, but the main point is when the product is received, you need to ensure the vendor returns the purchase with the correct quotation price.
 
Otherwise you will still pay whatever value they stipulate on the invoice.
