Add Rota Approval Workflow to Prevent Premature Publishing

We’d like to request a rota approval workflow feature within the WFM module. Currently, site teams can publish rotas without approval from the Operations team, which leads to issues when schedules go live prematurely.

Our ideal workflow would:

• Allow site teams to create and save rotas as drafts.
• Require Ops to review and approve a rota before it can be published.
• Prevent publishing until approval is given (ideally with an audit trail for transparency).

This added layer of control would help us ensure compliance, improve accuracy, and streamline communication between site teams and central Ops.

We believe this would benefit many multi-site operators who rely on a centralised rota approval process.
