I would like to create a new absence code for lay off, please can you let me know how to do this please

Thanks for the great question!
The way to create a new Absence code for a lay off is by following this pathway;
HR > Administration > Absence Types > Create Absence Type
This will then allow you to create a new Absence type and the options with which you can tailor it to your needs.
If you are unable to see these options, you may need higher permissions, which you would then need to speak to your administrator in your business.
