Thank you for this question.
The employee will need to be terminated. You could create a termination reason in the HR Module called "Non-starter" if you would like to report on these records separately.
Please view your payroll preview to be sure that the employee is not on the payroll. If they are already attached to payroll and are visible in the current payrun, you can put them on "hold".
If there are zero year to date figures on the payroll record for the employee, Fourth should not generate any P45.
