Not able to add new product to a template
Ive created several new products that i wanted to add to my templates how ever once i got to a particular template my new products are not listed? Is there something that needs to be done or approved prior to be being able to add them?

How come same item when i open one template is available to be added while in the other template doesnt exist???

Hi @funkyzeit1809, thank you for your question.
Before you can add products to a purchase template they must first be added to the inventory guide, you can find the guide under Inventory > Guide. Once you have added the products you can then re-open your template and the products will be there waiting for you to add. If the products are still not appearing please check in the guide that 'In Order guide' is ticked against the product you are trying to add. Please see the example below

Thanks for the reply it is helpful however it doesn't solve my case. Ill give an example once i create a new product that product doesnt exist in any of my outlets. Its basically unassignable. Once i open a product and go to GL account it doesn't let me assign to any existing outlet which is the main reason why i am not able to add it to any particular template.
Once i am able to assign to certain outlet ill be able to add them to templates,

basically if you look into product 7992 i am unable to assign to any of the existing templates
i was trying to assign it under sushi and hors
Ive noticed many of the products since last one was orange juice (at home at the moment cant recall the exact number)
all new products dont have GL account assigned to any of the departments in our case main kitchen and store room.
And for some reason i am not even able to assign them right after i create them.

Hi,
You cannot currently add any products to the guides because inventory is in progress, as soon as the inventory is closed you will be able to add the products to your guide and in turn add the products to your template.
