Furlough Claim Export
Please see the following from Alan Eaton @ Coombe Abbey Park Limited. Is anyone able to please assist?
I am hoping you will be able to assist, if not then I may need to speak to HMRC.
I am in the process of compiling our claim for July and need some clarity.
Our contracted staff are paid calendar monthly so this aspect is fine, however some have been brought back from furlough in the month full time ie returned to work from 6th July on normal hours so I just claim for the 5 days. However under the new spreadsheet, we have to show contract hours against hours worked - do I need to do this for these. We also have some contracted staff who have come back as part-time at normal hours.
My main query is how I deal with our casual staff as they are paid on a 4,4,5 week basis with cut off the Sunday prior to Friday payday (last Friday of Month). So for July pay their dates should be 22.06.2020 - 26.07.2020. However I did hear/read that from 1st July claims cannot overlap months so how do I process this. As I have made a claim for June not sure if I can make a claim for these for the last 9 days of June and then include them in July as usual or if I date the main claim process them within a single claim for July. Just to complicate things for me some are still on furlough, some are fully off furlough and some are on flexible furlough!

Hi Shannon & Alan,
Many thanks for sending through your query and the information.
Our Product Owner for UK HR & Payroll, Alison Barlow, has recorded a webinar that takes a customer through flexible furlough, how to calculate the claims and how the claim periods work in relation to payroll frequencies. You can find the webinar through the link below; just leave your details to watch the webinar on demand.
