    Hi Alan Eaton

    Thank you for your question.

Employees on a casual employment status accrue 12.07% of an hour holiday for every hour that is submitted on the rota. Unlike the flexible status, whereby employees have an annual entitlement based on their average days worked over a 52 week period, casual employees do not have an annual allowance or refer to average days or hours, but rely on rota submission to calculate holiday accrual, therefore casual employees will not be accruing holidays whilst on furlough.

It is possible to add holiday hours for casual employees for the hours that they would have worked during this time, if you would like to. This can be done by creating holiday requests with a negative value, which increases the number of hours available to take without impacting the holiday accrual calculation. More information and the steps to follow can be found here: WFM - Reopening Sites: Holidays

I hope this helps. If you need any assistance with this please do let us know.
