Dear Team at Fourth,
We process payroll on a monthly basis for all our employees. The vast majority of our employees are on Furlough and a small percentage is still currently working. I was cross checking our May payroll and I noticed that ER NI contribution on Fourth do not match with my calculations. For example: Employee AA (who is not on furlough) received a Gross Pay of £2916.67 for the month of April. The ER NI recorded on Fourth seems to be £284.95. I thought that by taking his gross salary minus £732 threshold multiplied by 13.8% that would give an ER NI of £301.48 for the month of May, Am I missing a step?
I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible, please.
