My employee has given notice but I cannot enter a termination date in the future. What should I do?

Hi!
Great question.
When an employee is made a leaver, any holiday that they have accrued and not taken is used to calculate Final Holiday Pay. This payment populates the employee's final payslip automatically. The pay period that correlates to the termination date needs to be open for this to feed in. If a termination date in the future is used and that pay period isn't yet open, the termination will be blocked. Please terminate the employee in the pay period for which they should receive their Final Holiday Pay.
I hope that helps!
Best,
Nicky
