Limit Holiday Requests

Due to the nature of holidays being a 'request' the system doesn't have the ability to limit holiday requests on certain days or block off days completely.

There is functionality which can be switched on through the Global Settings in HR which allows for specific days to be held back from the employees holiday entitlement as a 'reserved day.' This functionality can be used to ensure that certain days are taken as holiday.

Please see the below link to an article which explain this in more depth. The holidays would still need to be be booked off as with other requests to manage the entitlement correctly.

Dear @WFM Solution​ 

One of my customers has done some further testing and instead of blocking off days that you can’t take ,it seems to be allowing employees to ‘reserve’ these days in the system.  

What is my customer missing in order to hold back specific days from the employees holiday entitlement?

What you are describing is how the 'reserved day' functionality works. It allows for specific days to be held back from the employees holiday entitlement which can be used to ensure that certain days are taken as holiday.

It does not allow you to prevent employees from requesting holidays on specific days. Such functionality does not currently exist.
