What is the easiest way to access a split of fourth cost and hours by salaried and hourly for a dynamic time period please?

Please can you clarify the requirement, I'm not sure this makes sense.

What is the customer trying to do/achieve and why?

If you are talking about a rota week costs can be split across 7 days or days worked (i.e scheduled on the rota).

You cannot split cost for any other period of time.
