How can you instruct the system to block orders below a Minimum Order amount in FnB Live?

Hi Community,   I hope you can help me with a query from @Sabina Puzey regarding the Minimum Order Amount field in FnB.   She has asked how to enforce this setting, but I am unable to locate the option that enables this, only the Minimum Order Quantity, and Maximum Order Quantity seem to have the ability to enforce them against a supplier purchase.   Any advice would be appreciated   Thanks Adam Fourth

Hi Adam,

 

Although there is no setting that stipulates that it will block below a minimum value, the system will block the order as long as:

  • The user does not have permissions to override these qty's/values
  • The minimum values are set against the supplier at site level, and the tick box (block below minimum qty) is 'checked'

I've just tested it to be sure, and the system did not allow me to process the order below the minimum value, even though I had ordered over the minimum qty.

 

If there are any issues, please let me know the customer, site, supplier and user, and can review the settings and permissions
