Contract Hours Change - effective date

Good day,   When I update the contracted hours field in 'employment details' the change takes effect immediately (no option for effective date) and changes all previous rotas. For example - employees working week changes from 20 hour to 39 hours, when applying this change it takes effect from the date applied and amends all previous rotas. Is there a way to add an 'effective from date' and the previous rotas not to affected?

Currently there is not, but I do feel this has been raised before and it is in out backlog.

I will check and if it isn't, I will add it to our Ideas page that our product team review.
