Is there a way to set up 2 separate contracts for break settings in the rota

1) Existing staff to continue to receive paid breaks 2) Newly employed staff to be deducted breaks from their rota hours.   I have heard the Cafe Nero use this functionality

The only way this would work is to have the rota configured to deduct breaks for new employees and use specific shifts for old staff. These shifts would be set as double shifts but with no break.

I would imagine this would be open to abuse or error.

unfortunaly there is no other option.
