How do I auto-enrol employees on the pension scheme?

When an employee is created on the system, a pension record will not be created until after the next pay run. You will see a Pension eligibility screen. You should check that the Assess Worker for Pension Scheme is ticked.

It is the 'Completion on Payroll' that triggers the assessment and will Auto Enroll any employees that are eligible.
If a Probation Period is in effect, the Pension Scheme will not be added until the deferral date.
The only time you will need to manually add and employee is if they Opt in or wish to Join a pension scheme and they are not eligible.
