How do I archive all the recipes not in use in RME?

I am looking to do a cleanse on recipes.   Please could you advise on how we would archive all recipes not in use? Is this something Fourth can do for us? At the same time, if we were to do this here ourselves is there a quick way to do it?

You can Archive a recipe through the Recipe itself by Publishing the Recipe to an Archive set when in edit mode.

If you have created rules against Flags in your Global Settings you can also achieve this by assigning a flag with an expiration date against the Recipe. On that particular date, the Recipe will move to the desired set (usually a red flag will move an Ingredient or recipe to an Archive set). This is a great way of scheduling a recipe for Archive ahead of time.

 

If you have Rules set up against Flags, you can assign flags to Recipes en masse using the 'Bulk Edit Recipes' tool:

Admin > Tools > Bulk Edit Recipes

(please not that if you do not have access to this tool, you will need to contact your CSM or the Customer Care team to enable it against a desired UserGroup).

Here you will be able to search and select all the relevant Recipes and assign a flag and expiration date.

If you also use our Inventory platform, a message will be sent through the overnight feed and your Recipes will be archived at site the following day.
