Is it possible to use a Template to order from a Punchout supplier?

One of our Properties has connectivity issues when they try to load the Staples Advantage website through Adaco (their internet speed is horrible). It would be very beneficial for them to be able to just use a template and bypass the punchout all together. Would this cause them errors with the Transmission?   Thanks,   Lee

Thank you for your query.

 

Adaco Templates cannot be used for cXML Punchout requisitions as they are based on the 'Shopping Cart' (or equivalent) within each Vendor's website; upon checkout, the Shopping Card ID is linked with the PR & PO in Adaco to then release the order upon PO transmission.

 

Therefore, without creating the Shopping Cart within the Vendor's website, the Order Transmission would fail since it is not linked to a Shopping Cart ID.

 

To help expedite this process, customers often create the equivalent of a Template within each Vendor's website, e.g. Order Guide, Favorites list, etc.
