What happens with furlough pay if we have holiday booked during that period?
If an employee has holiday booked during the furlough period, are they to still receive their furlough pay as well as the holiday pay or just what they have booked as holiday?

When employees take holiday during furlough they must be paid 100%, you can claim back 80% as part of the furlough scheme but your employee would not be paid both holiday pay and furlough pay.

Employees are entitled to take annual leave whilst on Furlough, and the amount paid should be 100% of the holiday amount due. Therefore employers are obliged to pay the additional 20% on holiday payment amounts, which cannot be reclaimed via the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme grant.
