Is it possible to separate out access to pay rates on the template to edit employee details?

If not then is there a report that would show employees whose pay rates have changed over a period of time and include the amounts previous and current, and who made the change, Thanks

Pay rate changes can be viewed in Payroll > Payroll Admin > View Salary changes.

This will show who has made a change as well as the effective date, old and new value.

Alerts can also be set up to alert when a pay rate has been changed.

It is possible to restrict Annual Salary but not Hourly/Shift Rate. The only way would be to give read only access to the employment details page which may not be suitable.

If pay bandings are set up, a change cannot be made outside the banding. This may offer some protection against pay rates being raised. Super Users (with permission can override)

They can also run the Employee History report for pay rate in addition to the above suggestions.

 

HR > Reports > Employee History Report
