Hi All, I have a customer that wants to change from paying his employees per shifts to paying them by the hour. Can any one advise the best way to get this done. He has a deadline of April 1st for 54 employees.

Hi Matt,

 

This can simply be changed within each employees employment details page.

HR > Employee > Employment Details

 

At the top right of the employment details page, it will show that the employee is Paid By Shift. This can simply be changed to Paid By Rota. Once that is selected, a box will appear where an hourly rate can be entered.

 

If this option does not appear, it is likely that the job title of the employee needs updating to allow the Paid By Rota option. Please see the article attached which will explain this: https://fc.force.com/customer/s/article/How-To-Create-a-job-title
