Purchasing & Inventory: Requisition & Routing
-
The answer to this can be found below:
Thanks for your post.
The requisition was final approved by Person C because he is set-up as a final approver for orders upto $1000, and the requisition is $139.10.
The way the route is currently built has Person C final approving any orders upto $1000, and anything over $1000 needs to be final approved by Person D.
If you still need Person D to approve all requisitions (including those below £1000) then Person C needs to be changed to an approver. He will still be part of the approval route, but the Final Approver is always the last person in the route.

Hi @Selina Routh ,
Many thanks for your follow-up. This may either because:
a. Someone has unticked the Administration flag (Property >Administration > Property Preferences > Requisition > Add link to approval email
b. In order for the email to send, whoever is creating the requisition will need to have their Outlook (email) installed and open on their laptop/ desktop they are using. The solution uses this to send the notification email. If outlook is not configured/ running, then they will not get the notification.
I hope that helps

Follow up question from @Selina Routh:
Can you please help me answer Person B's question? He says " When Person A put in the requisition, I used to receive a generated email in my inbox, where it gave basic details, and I clicked a link and it would bring me to a page, where I then route it to Person C, and then he would receive an email. That was the question I had; I was wondering why we no longer receive them."

Hi Mark,
The hotelier assured me they have outlook open and I also checked the setting you mentioned below. It is correct.

Hi @Selina Routh ,
This means it is a technical error (as the system is not performing as it should) so needs to be raised as a case with our technical support team.
