If a member of staff is sent home from work - How can we record this in Fourth ?

Aware that this type of absence is not recognised as a sick day for HMRC purposes, however we would be keen to tag it as a day off work due to sickness for our own purposes, Is there any where we can capture this linked to absence

Hi Sharon,

 

Great question!

 

Recommendation for this is to record that they went home early as a Comment against the employee. This can be done by the manager when closing the day on the Day Content Screen.

 

You also have the ability to set up a new Comment Category (HR > Administration> Comment Categories ) which will allow you to be able to report back on the information using the 'Employee Comments' report within the HR Module.
