HR: How do I ensure the right lieu days are allocated to employees?

Hi, thanks very much for your question – great to see someone wanting to use the Lieu Day functionality of The Workforce Management Solution to best effect.
Firstly, make sure that you have entered all the Statutory Days for the entire year into the system. You can do this by opening Global Settings in the Administration drop-down, within the HR Module. Go to Edit Default Holiday Settings and select “Statutory Days”. Create away, and remember to allocate any additional pay required for the day. (i.e. time and a half)
Next, ensure that your Lieu Day Descriptions are set up. Access this via HR Module > Administration > Lieu Day Descriptions. (Two suggestions – 1. Worked on Statutory Day, 2. Worked on Off-Day)
Allocating a Lieu Day to an employee is done by selecting the appropriate employee (search in Employee List from the Administration drop-down or use the View All Employees Quick Link), then follow Employee HR Info > Lieu Days > Create Lieu Day. Set status to Available, so that the Lieu Day can be taken as required via the Rota.
