Can a Tronc rate be pre allocated to their job title? (It will auto load when their employee file is being created on Fourth)? If so, are we also able to pre allocate a base pay rate to a job title too?

Thanks for the question!

 

Tronc rates cannot be pre allocated by job role I am afraid and have to managed individually. Depending on which version of the Tronc module you are using, the rate must either be entered into each employees employment details or if you are using Tronc2 it will be entered within the Tronc2 module.

 

With pay rates there is functionality on the system to have pay bandings set up. This would not allocate the employees pay automatically however will prevent the pay rate going above or below the pay bandings.

 

This functionality is set up using the following path:

HR Module > Company Admin > Job Titles

 

Select the job title and there will be an option at the bottom called "Link Rates of Pay"

When selected the option becomes available to enter minimum and maximum pay rates for hourly, salaried and shift paid employees on that job title, and for each significant age i.e. 18, 21 and 25.

Please note: If you do use this, once the pay rates are entered it will NOT automatically update employees already created and they may need adjusting separately.
