We are trying to pay our staff training attendance hours through the rota (instead of sending amendments schedules for every payroll). Using a separate shift code for training this is fine on days when an employee is not also going to be rota'd on for a shift, however if they are working a shift and attending early/afterwards for some training how do we include both?
We want the training hours to feed through separately so that there is a clear audit trail of these being paid.
Anyone done this or know if it's possible?
Can you allocate multiple shift types to one employee on any given day in a rota?

Hello @Tsara Taylor ,
Thank you for your question,
There are a few ways to tackle this, you can create a "training" division and multiple employ the employee to the division on their same job title (or create a training one). That way you can report separately on this division and the cost and hours worked .
OR
Create a training job title and then multiple employ them so they would have two lines on the rota - one to schedule normal role shift time to and the other to assign the additional hours.
I hope this helps and look forward to any additional questions you may have on the above.
Thanks,
Saskia🐆
