Can you confirm what the setting "amendment of absences in the past" exactly does?

Hi All   We currently have this setting enabled howeverr, are unsure of what it actually does. Are you able to provide me with details on this please?   Many Thanks   @Hayley Ballinger​ @Debra Hayden​ @Simone Yapp​

On the back of the further information you have provided, @Hayley Ballinger​ @Simone Yapp​ @Debra Hayden​  have reviewed the document. It simply states that disabling the setting would not allow them to amend absences in the past, however, this is clear from the title of the setting and Hayley was looking for a bit more detail...i.e. would there be any other impact/could we have a warning message when they tried to amend them or would they just be greyed out etc. to fully understand.

Unfortunately I do not know. I suspect that there will not be a save button.

I would suggest testing this on your yesterday portal.

You can disable the setting on a template and then try to amend an absence in the past and see what happens.
