Inter-property transfer: Unable to select receiving outlet account

We are noticing that when we record an interproperty transfer we are able to designate the account to use for transferring out, but we aren't able to designate the account to transfer in. Instead the receiving of the interproperty transfer is coded to accounts that aren't in use in the receiving property. Is there a way to change this? Thanks!

    Great question! 

     

    Correct, you cannot select the account for the receiving property as this is to insure the correct account will be used.  To resolve this you need to first at the receiving property put the product onto the inventory guide for the appropriate outlet and assign the account, if outlet accounts are being used.  Once assigned in the receiving property you can then create the InterProperty Transfer and when received into the new property the product will then be coded correctly.​
