Hi. Can you confirm if there is functionality to set up a salary workflow but for hourly pay changes and promotions? Or is this just available for salaried?

    I believe you can use the salary workflow for hourly changes but you would not be able to use for salaries as well.

    In the example you give you could use pay bandings so that when the employee moves job titles their rate of pay automatically increase.

    The Hourly Workflow functionality is available in the system. However, it does not work in conjunction with the Salary Request Workflow, as Debbie has kindly mentioned above. We currently do not have any documentation on the Hourly Workflow functionality, however, we have this article on Salary Request Workflow which works similarly.

     

    As this is would have an impact on business processes, please take this into consideration before changing to Hourly Workflow (additional configuration required from Fourth). If you would like to have a discussion about what works best for your business (e.g. maybe pay bandings?), you can book some time with a Solution Expert in an Ask Fourth session 😊

    Many thanks for the info, I am booked in to speak with someone ​at an Ask Fourth session on the 5th Sept. I did try and briefly explain in the ticket order what we are looking to do, but any notes you are able to pass to whoever takes this session from Fourth would be most appreciated!
