What is the best way to create a job tit ...
What is the best way to create a job title (or other solution) in Fourth, for the correct rate to be pulled out at the other end? Or will it show X number of hours of Night Shift (slightly different pay rate) and X hours for ’normal’ shift.
We are going to start Night shifts for some of the team.
They could be hourly or salaried. But will be paid an extra £0.50 per hour on top of their ‘day’ rate (they could be salaried or hourly paid)
How can I put this into Fourth?
I am not sure if this will effect it but:
The shifts will always be different lengths and starting/finishing at different times of the night.
Different job titles will be doing the night shifts

It could be any number of people who will be working the night shift, so do not want to have to change every one’s individual Fourth profile.
Will Fourth be able to produce this information for Payroll each month?
Thanks,

Hi Candice,
For the hourly paid employees I would suggest creating a Multiple Employment on the higher hourly rate; the employees can then be scheduled on that ME profile for the shift/hours that it applies to.
For salaried staff I would suggest using reporting to see what hours those people have worked and then putting this through payroll as an additional amount.
It might be worth talking this through with one of our Solution Consultants, so please speak to your Customer contact at Fourth who can advise.
many thanks,
Sophie.
