Will the 'Deletion service for GDPR settings' need to be enabled on a yesterday portal or will it automatically delete files that have been deleted by the deletion service in the live portal when it backs up?

  Providing your yesterday portal is not frozen, the files would be deleted when the yesterday portal refreshes.

   

  If you do have your portal frozen for a length of time, I would recommend that the 'enable data deletion' box is also checked within the yesterday portal data retention period settings.
