How to request and approve a casual worker’s holiday on fourth - error message received

Hi there,   We have a question from the lovely @Posh Gurung​ -   Below employee request a holiday for December, but he is a casual staff   May I how to request and approve a casual worker’s holiday on fourth.   They get paid in hours instead of days, but I can’t see any hours to add in fourth as below s/shot.   Webpage error message received states: This employee works an average of X.XX days a week, please set holidays to unpaid if required.   Best, Zaina Fourth

It looks like you are not currently using the casual functionality on your portal. The stated employee is set to the flexible employment type which means that their holidays are accrued as an average of the days and hours worked over the last 12 weeks. All holidays would be shown in days for flexible employee.

 

He is on a Casual contract, however, the contracts do not affect holidays, only CSP and Overtime.

 

When requesting the holiday you will get the 'Webpage error message received states: This employee works an average of X.XX days a week, please set holidays to unpaid if required.' However, this will not stop you from requesting the holiday - you will just need to press save again.
