Hi

This question is for Adaco team (not Analytics). It has come about due to discrepancies that were found by the customer between Outlet Variance reports in Adaco and Analytics. The two reports report same Recipe Creation value and quantity when adaco report is executed for all recipes (Report Criteria > Product Selection > All Recipes). However when the criteria is changed to Selected Recipe (i.e. on a single recipe) the recipe creation values change for that same recipe. Can the adaco experts please comment on reasons for this behaviour?

Thanks

Giuseppe

Good afternoon {@005D0000008vTaUIAU} & {@005D000000AN6rSIAT},

Presently, both reports pull from the same set of core Adaco data; however, the output logic is slightly different.

To summarize the difference:

  • In Adaco, the design is when using 'Selected Recipe' to only show what was being used for that Recipe if that is main Recipe, not what was used when it is used as a SubRecipe. That being said, when using 'All Recipes'/'All Items', the calculations include all forms of usage.
  • Whereas in Fourth Analytics, the design also includes when a SubRecipe is used as a SubRecipe (like how much it deducted or added) so that 'Selected Recipes' & 'All Recipes/'All Items' provide the same output.

Our Service & Development Teams are reviewing this design to determine if there should be a change to either/both solutions; you will receive a further update directly from the Service Team &/or your Fourth Customer Representative.
