Unfortunately, that doesn't work. I tried putting all the different barcode symbols and can't get any of them to work.

Hi @Jennifer Witschen ,

Thank you for your question, apologies that we've taken so long to reply.

If you are looking to assign the Barcode to a product, you can do this by going to Property > Product > Select Product > Bar Codes > New >

Unit - Select Relevant Unit

Bar Code Symbol - Code 39

Barcode - Enter the 8 digit bar code number.

This will require a User to add each barcode individually rather than assigning using the MC40 scanner. Our brilliant tech team are currently looking into ways to do this at the moment, and we should be able to update you shortly.

Please let me know how you get on.

Hi @Jennifer Witschen ,

Can you confirm what you mean by symbols?

You should be assigning the number on the barcode to the product.

You need to make sure that you are entering the barcode number into the system, and then syncing to the MC40.

Do NOT add a new EAN8 barcode into the MC40 first, as the product will get added to the requisition or count and get sent back to the system but the barcode won’t be stored against the product.
