Can our customers close rotas early if the restaurant is closing due to COVID-19?

I have had a customer request to close their rotas early and get payroll submitted before month end as the restaurant has closed due to the current situation.​

Good Morning,

 

Yes this can be done. If they are using LP, there is a setting/user permission that needs to be enabled to allow this (Allow early submission of schedule to payroll). Its common practise at Xmas. They should of course ensure that hours are correct week to date and the hours on the schedule for the remainder of the week are those that should be paid or the shifts removed if they are not to be paid.
