What do I do when my handheld scanner stops working?

Hi There!   This is in reference to scanning my inventory for the Purchasing & Inventory system (Adaco).   When I am using my handheld to scan my inventory sometimes the machine stops scanning, as in the red light stops working, and other times the machine starts vibrating non-stop. What should I do in this situation?   Thanks.

Great question, thanks for bringing this to the community!

This is most likely because you are moving the machine from the signal of one wi-fi router to another and they need time to adjust to the new network connection. You can stop this from happening by disabling the wi-fi, in settings, during your inventory, only enabling when you need to Sync back to the application.

If you do forget to do this and you find the scanner has frozen again just take the battery off for about 5 seconds, the internal power will hold you previously scanned inventory for a minute or so and you should be able to pick up where you left off. You can check if the information is still held by looking for an asterisk on the inventory tile.
