attributes + multiple images in ordering app (marketplace)
Linked Ideas
Hi Team, do you have any thoughts on this.
Thanks
@Simon Madders
And to add to this, how do we utilise these standard attributes that show in the filter page? How do they work?

@Andy Higgins could you consider @Simon Madders first question (and if they don't work, please may we raise a case?)
@Simon Madders roadmap plans I'll take forward for you as I am speaking with product management on this. thanks!
Hi @Simon Madders
Thank you for the question. Please accept my apologies for the delay in my response.
From the way the Ordering app is currently configured, these options are not available. The workaround here is that you can use the search bar to search 'Premium', to find a list of items with descriptions containing this search term.
In regards to the possibility of adding multiple images, I'm afraid this is not yet possible within the Ordering app. I would suggest perhaps speaking with the relevant supplier to discuss the possibility of them attaching different images to the catalogue, which may be better suited to your purpose.
Cheers,
Andy
Hi Andy, thanks for the reply. Get your point regards images. We will park this one for now, although multi image seems like something useful to add to your product roadmap.
Regards my other point, sorry I am still not clear. Are you saying that those 4 attributes you can filter on don't actually work? i.e those labelled Brand Mandated, Top Seller, Contracted, Sustainable. If so, begs the question why are they there?. Adding words into the description doesn't really seem like a nice workaround.
Are there any roadmap plans to improve the filtering options?
Thanks
Simon
Hi Andy, thanks. This links well in with another issue we have... we believe that we do have additional attributes used on one of our catalogues, Magrini, however no attributes show in MatketPlace ordering. Maybe you can advise why or provide some guidance on populating the catalogue in the correct way. Andrew Barber should be looking into this for us also.
Hi @Simon Madders ,
Thank you for clarifying.
I've tested the search functions in Ordering and they work very well. Providing fast, accurate results.
The reason the attribute search terms return no results is because there is currently no catalogue containing the data required.
If a supplier provides a catalogue with attribute search terms specified then the filters will work.
All the best!
Hi @Simon Madders
That's a good question thank you!
The latest catalogue that I have found was uploaded on 7th May 2019.
There is data in the correct column of the catalogue but I don't believe this is directly related to the attribute search field in Market Place.
If it should be, I would suggest to the supplier to remove the spaces either side of the equal symbol and re-upload the catalogue.
All the best!
